“Fan Letters” | NetApp & Google Cloud NetApp Volumes
About the project:
As part of the launch for NetApp and Google Cloud’s joint offering, Google Cloud NetApp Volumes, NetApp wanted to create a brand announcement video that was short, fun, and appealed to a less tech-focused audience.
The goal was to create top-of-the-funnel content to be used across social media and the product announcement page.
My role:
I was lead copywriter and worked with the video production team to draft the video script.
My approach:
The initial project was pitched as a series of videos that highlighted the limitless potential of Google Cloud NetApp Volumes via “Fan Letters.” Each video episode would feature a letter from a fan, hyping our protagonist up to take a risk.
This was a team effort, led by the video production team. I worked with them to develop a script that aligned with their vision and matched the creative direction they wanted to bring to this brand-level video.
Project outcomes:
The final video was featured across NetApp’s various social media accounts.
