“Bank on NetApp” | NetApp & NASDAQ

About the project:

NetApp purchased a variety of OOH ad placements throughout New York City to coincide with their ringing of the Nasdaq Closing Bell. With top financial services clients in town, NetApp execs wanted ads to invoke confidence while highlighting their new brand messaging and verbiage.

Placements included One Times Square, Nasdaq Tower, Bank of America Tower, and Grand Central Station.


My role:

I was lead copywriter and worked with video and design teams to develop the creative direction.



My approach:

I landed on the “Bank on NetApp” campaign message because of its dual meaning and appeal to our financial services audience. It was short, direct, and punchy enough to stand out in some of New York City’s busiest locations.

With the core message in place, we created additional campaign narratives to fill longer ad slots.


Project outcomes:

The “Bank on NetApp” was used as a tagline throughout the day’s events and as a hashtag on social media.
